So, I did the research I downloaded all 33 fonts required by the subtitles and burned them into the video. That lead my video player to use the default font, which of course doesn't look really good. But the subs did not embed the fonts required to play the files. The release by Final8 is good, in terms of typesetting, sub quality and BD rip. The softsubs have been burned into the video. This reduced the average file size of 1.3GB to merely 55MB while retaining very high quality (1080p and clear audio). I have re-encoded the FLAC audio to OPUS 128K and the x264 video to x265.
